How does JUTE Theatre select plays for production?
The selection of plays for JUTE Theatre’s annual season is made by the Artistic Director, Suellen Maunder in consultation with a range of theatre practitioners both locally and nationally. The program is subsequently approved by the JUTE Board of Directors. Plays are selected on their merit, their contemporary relevance, their potential to gain an audience and their potential to affect a wider audience on tour.
