We have strict quality control standards to ensure not only the purest oil used in our products, but we also use the least amount of processing to extract the oil in order to maintain the integrity of the raw material. The palm fruit is carefully inspected by hand and is picked by hand for only the best quality. Once picked, the palm fruit is left for 36 to soften. Then the fruits are plucked, washed, and steamed for only a few minutes to soften the pulp. It is then poured into a large mortar or frapper and pounded until the flesh separates from the nut. The nut is then set aside to dry. At this time, the oil of the palm fruit begins to appear. To remove any excess water, the red oil is heated slightly and then sits for 24 hours to allow for all impurities to be removed and sink to the bottom of the tank. To ensure that no additional impurities are intact, the red oil is filtered through the traditional gravity system. The coconuts are grown naturally in their wild state and have never
