Jumpnode addresses the market by providing an elegant, Saas-based IT monitoring platform that is economical, simple to deploy and easy to use. Jumpnode’s distributed architecture is fundamentally different than competitive offerings. Jumpnode monitoring is based on a small, physical monitoring appliance or a virtual appliance that is then coupled with large, powerful central servers at a remote location. Its sole function is to gather status information about specific aspects of the network, systems and applications, compress and encrypt that information and send it to a secure Jumpnode data center. There the information is analyzed and critical reports, graphs and alerts are created.
