How does Jango work?
To create a custom station, just type in an artist you want to hear – and your station will start with a popular song by that artist. You can create new stations by clicking the green “Create New Station” button below the Jango logo in the top left corner of every page – or just click “Create New Station” from the “Music” dropdown in the main navigation. You can customize your stations further by adding more artists and rating songs. The more you do both, the “smarter” your stations will get. Your added artists will play a lot; similar artists will play a little. The more artists you add, the more you will hear those and the less you will hear similar artists. On the edit station page, you can add artists you want to play, and ban artists you don’t want to play. You can also quickly rate all songs by a certain artist, so that your favorite songs will play more and other songs will play less (or if you ban them, not at all) – or you can simply rate songs directly from the player as they
