How does it make smaller droplets?
The RainbreakerZ is perforated with 125 holes per square inch. A typical raindrop falling from the roof is 1/3 inch in diameter. Each drop will “see” 19 holes as it falls and will be split into 19 smaller, uniform droplets due to its falling momentum. The holes divide the larger drop into smaller droplets and direct the water away from the house as a gentle rain that will have insignificant soil erosion and will not affect shrubs below.
