How does it effect my rate if I am a Senior Citizen?
Virginia law requires that companies give a reduction in premium to persons 55 years of age and older if they have successfully completed a motor vehicle accident prevention course approved by the Dept of Motor Vehicles. In addition, some companies we represent actually give preferred rating for persons 55 and older. Other companies are just the opposite. Be sure to ask your agent if there is not a better option for you.
