How does ISP differ from the other programs for first-year students?
We are the most flexible of the programs. All students must enroll in a fall and/or spring humanities subject with attached hands-on workshops. You choose other subjects from within MIT’s “mainstream” curriculum and may take ISP recitations. ISP’s special hallmark is our belief that you learn best through doing! We practice this approach in our unique humanities offerings where you will complement theoretical learning with hands-on work in the technologies we study.
