How does Iris Recognition compare to fingerprinting?
There are various products using fingerprinting, so it is difficult to make a blanket statement, however, we think that iris recognition is 10-100 times more accurate. Also, as irises don’t require contact it provides a clean image. In the case of fingerprinting, 3-5 out of 100 people fail to be recognized if they do kitchen or cleaning work.
