iQ Power uses lateral flow chambers, or bypasses, in the battery cells to prevent damaging stratification in its iQ Batteries. This puts a permanent end to the problem. Angular passive plastic elements use the kinetic energy generated from motions of the vehicle (see illustration) to move the electrolyte from bottom up and over the plates. This motion is sufficient to completely recirculate the electrolyte after only one hour of driving.
