How does IPANow! handle words of foreign origin (i.e., a word of French origin that occurs in German)?

Some words that have been pre-entered into the program will be transcribed correctly, but generally speaking, IPANow! will attempt to transcribe the foreign word using rules for the regular language. However, you can manually edit any words that are transcribed incorrectly by exporting the transcription in Rich Text Format (.rtf) and opening it using a word processor.
