How does Intuit PaymentNetwork (IPN) work?
• When you send a payment, or a request for payment, PaymentNetwork notifies the other party by email and sends the request to their PaymentNetwork account. • If your contact is not a PaymentNetwork member, you will have the option to send an invitation that includes instructions on how your business partner can activate their IPN account to send payments. • When a payment is initiated, PaymentNetwork transfers the money from the sender’s bank account to the receiver’s bank account.
