How does InterActive Applicant differ from a job board or job posting?
A career job board/posting is a great solution to get word out that you are looking to fill an open position. Typically, applicants search out a position on a job board and send in their resume if interested. Posting positions on job boards and career sites are good ways to collect applicants for review. InterActive Applicant is used in conjunction with a job board. When you list a position in InterActive Applicant, you will be provided with a URL and Job ID that you can insert into your job posting. When applicants use this link to apply, they will be redirected to InterActive Applicant where they upload their resume as well as answer job specific screening questions posed by you. They will be able to respond in one of three ways – video (using a webcam), audio (using a computer microphone) or text. You can use one of the methods or a combination of all three to get a better assessment of what an applicant can truly offer.
