As that project becomes more popular across the site, your reputation as a Trendsetter will rise accordingly. The earlier you back a great discovery, the more you have to gain. If you’re the first person to recommend a hot new script, you’ll gain more from its success than anyone else. Conversely, if you back projects that are already popular, you’ll find your reputation might not rise as quickly as you’d like. Once you’ve removed a book from your Picks, you won’t continue to gain in reputation from its further success, but that’s all right because you’ll have found something new and exciting to champion in its place, right?
