How does Indexer LPT control the speed during interpolation?

0

Indexer LPT automatically regulates the vector (feed) rate in up to three dimensions. In a three axis gantry type cutting machine, the vector rate is the actual speed of the tool across the surface of the work. By regulating the feed rate to the vector speed, the quality of the cutting is consistently maintained regardless of the direction of the tool path.
