Even though these systems offer Hot Swap drives, this means that the disks can be replaced in case of drive failure. In the case of Idealstor backup systems, each bay is designed to be used with Idealstor’s removable disk caddy and SATA disks. Each disk can be ejected like a tape without having to worry about data corruption, drive letters changing or manual intervention.
