How does Hydrocephalus cause dizziness and/or unsteadiness ?
There are several possible sources: • Stretching of central connections controlling the legs causes spasticity and difficult controlling leg motion • Fluctuation of pressure in the spinal fluid can be transmitted to the inner ear • Headache pain from hydrocephalus might trigger migraine associated vertigo.
