How does Huatulco compare to Cancun?
Theyre opposites in almost every aspect! You won’t find the amount of people, nor the endless variety of nightlife in Huatulco that you can find in Cancun. Huatulco is a lot less “commercial” than Cancun and you won’t find a McDonalds here! Huatulco is much more “Mexican” and rustic than Cancun and much smaller. Food and lodging are less expensive here, but it’s more expensive to get here. To me, the main attraction of Huatulco is the tranquility. By the way: Cancun gets hit by hurricanes a lot more often than Huatulco!
