How does HP ensure environmentally sound design in all its products?
Environmental stewardship is integral to HP engineering and manufacturing processes and inherent to our corporate values. Since 1992, the HP Design for Environment (DfE) programme has ensured HP creates printing products and supplies with environmental stewardship in mind at every stage of the lifecycle – from design, manufacture, performance and packaging through to customer use and end-of-life recycling. Using processes and guidelines that improve environmental design, HP develops printing supplies that are increasingly more efficient and recyclable.
