How does homology, analogy and vestigial organs give evidence for evolution?

I can sort of help here. Homology deals with similar structures being in two different species of animals. Much like in the arm/wing of a bat versus human. They have the same basic scructure, just different proportions. Start off with one bone, then two bones, then a bunch of little bones. In man it’s the humerus, ulna and radius, and then carpals/metacarpals/phalanges. Now, we are two very different species. But how does one explain the same basic outlining structure in our arms if we weren’t related to each other through some evolutionary deviance in the past? Analogy is almost the opposite of that. Take two animals whose evolutionary line has diverged from each other a loooooooong time ago. One would think that after so long, they’d be very dissimilar. But if you look at them closely, they have adapted themselves to the environment in almost the same way. So as opposed to diverging, they’re converging. If you look at sharks and dolphins, their evolutionary paths have diverged a long
