The time to put patients in a gown or take off their clothes, lie down, turn the laser/pads on and off, and explain how to be careful not to burn, takes longer than a 1-2 minute Apollo treatment. With LED pads you need to worry more about contamination (skin diseases being transferred) and burns. It is easier to wipe off a small probe than to clean a large pad.
