Stanek Windows offers both LowE/Argon and three levels of Heat Mirror (System 5, System 6 and System 9). Low-Emissivity glass has a metallic coating applied to the glass, whereas Heat Mirror suspends a metallic coated mylar substrate between two pieces of double strength glass. The triple-glazed Heat Mirror units will outperform the LowE/Argon in winter heat savings, summer cooling and filtering of harmful ultraviolet rays. Sound deadening is also better with a triple-glazed Heat Mirror unit.
