How does having a famous musician like Awilo Longomba as your uncle affect you?
Christian Longomba: It does a little bit. People expect same kind of music from us. We are we. He is he. Museke.com: What are your most memorable (favorite) collaborations? Lovy Longomba: We haven’t really done a lot of collaborations. Museke.com: What kind of music do you do and why do you do the kind of music you do? Lovy Longomba: We do universal sound, we are in no category. We don’t put a limit on ourselves. We call it Longombas music. It’s our sound. When you hear it, you hear us. Museke.com: Tell us about your current album. What should we expect? Lovy Longomba: We have a song called Queen, which is our newest single. The album is just special.
