How does hard drive cloning work and how precise is it?

Ghosting or cloning is an excellent tool. If you have many computers with same specifications, hardware and software requirements, you can do a cloning. You should use hard disks of the same make and same capacity. If you have other hardware with the same specifications, you can use that disk directly on that other computer. If not, you need to install the MoBo drivers after you boot with that hard disk. The ultimate result is an exact copy of the original. I don’t know whether that is legal in view of copyrights for software.
