He is a great player, no doubt. But I have always been leary of placing a ranking on guitarists as there are so many great players from different musical walks of life out there. As a guy that made a living for most of my life as a guitarist, I have always been careful not to say who I might think is the greatest player out there. I have many favorites but I don’t rank them.
