How does growing hemp affect the environment?
Growing hemp requires no herbicides or pesticides making it an extremely environmentally friendly crop. Hemp crops actually nourish the soil in which it is grown leaving nutrient rich farmland for rotation crops. By comparison, cotton is the largest user of chemical herbicides, pesticides and water of any crop, and depletes the soil of essential nutrients.
