How does GreasePerfect connect to my transfer pump? Will I get a collection hose with this product?
GreasePerfect comes configured with a top mounted male hose barb coupler to allow for a hose connection between your transfer pump and GreasePerfect (see illustration above). The GreasePerfect system does not include its own collection hose because different commercial transfer pumps have different hose requirements and usually include their own hoses. We anticipate that a majority of transfer pumps will use a 1/2″ or 3/4″ hose and have therefore included both male coupler sizes along with a steel hose clamp to securely fasten the hose to GreasePerfect. Transfer pumps that do not include a hose will usually use a standard 3/4″ garden hose. GreasePerfect is designed so that you can easily swap out our included male hose barb coupler with any adaptor / coupler that works best for your existing collection hose.
