How does granite compare to synthetic/engineered stone?
Granite has been around for millions of years, while engineered stone is a fairly new product, made with crushed stone, mixed with epoxies and acrylic that has the look of granite, but the similarities end there. For resistance to heat, scratches, stains and overall granite is unsurpassed. Price wise both are comparable.
