How Does Granite Become A Sedimentary Rock?

0

Metamorphic rock can be broken down by weathering, through erosion from water/rain/ocean currents. A long time…..in process for some of the hardest stones. Even heating and cooling can help to break that stone down, from sunlight and cooling from water etc. The sedimentary rock forms through layers of silt. The only thing that could return it to a metamorphic state is extreme heat and pressure, involved with volcanic activity or tectonics.
