How does grading affect the price?
Even if you don’t adhere or care about cel grading (some of my favorite cels one would consider ‘D cels’), it does affect the price. It seems higher up in the chain of buying and selling it helps determine the initial price that the buyer you get it from may have to pay. Additionally, it is a case of ‘majority rules’ for this one. Furthermore, when a distributor hasn’t seen the series and doesn’t know the scene or character, they will generally price according to cel grading and what they paid.
