How does Gokivo get my position?
Gokivo uses “Autonomous GPS”. Your iPhone includes a proprietary, autonomous GPS receiver. This receiver calculates your iPhone’s location relying solely on GPS satellites without input from cellular towers. While the device does have assisted GPS (A-GPS) capability, the GPS receiver is similar to GPS systems used by GPS-only car kits and mobile devices .GPS works best when used outdoors.
