If you have been behind 30-90 days you are considered a “slow pay” and you credit report may have / notations already listed. Community Credit Counseling will not report you to any credit reporting agencies. While on our program your creditors will begin to receive payments in a timely and consecutive fashion. Some may even waive or reduce any late fees that you have incurred and even bring your account to a current status, which is known as re-aging and this alone will enhance your credit report. Some creditors will report that your accounts are being paid by a credit counselor.
