How does GestPoint use video cameras to replace the touch screen?
Two cameras are mounted overhead, looking down at the user’s hand. A thin solid-color frame (either black or white) is applied around the “pointing area” to function as a “camera frame”. The “camera frame” can be applied to the bottom of a kiosk or store window, or can be fabricated as a freestanding unit that users stand at and point through.
