How does Geography tie in with Social Science?
I like your photo too, but not as much as I like the girl IN your photo. Geography and social science have lots of common ground. There is even a burgeoning study of anthropologic geography. Geography affects the way people live. Since you are in Sacramento, the indigenous people were hunters and gatherers. This required them to move–they were semi-nomadic. Go West to the sea, and the people were fishers. They formed permanent villages near the sea, because they did not need to move. Geography has everything to do with how people live, and how they relate to one another. You and I are prime examples. Because we are geographically separated, we are unable to do all of the things that we (or at least I) want to.
