A. Apart from improved power transfer through its low friction coefficient, FX1 SCLT measurably restores compression – which consequently inhibits blow by and oil burning in the combustion chamber. Immediate emission control that may be required for the new MOT test is assisted by the prior engine flushing and running the unit at high revs for 10 minutes with fresh oil and FX1 EEF & MFT treatments before taking measurements. For the best results FX1 EEF & MFT treatments should be added approximately 1,000 miles before the MOT test.
