How does fruit rot (what happens) and what gases are produced when it does?
We did an experiment in science that involved putting different kinds of fruit in containers and seeing which one produced the most gas (that top was covered with a balloon). I want to know what biologically/chemically happened in the fruit as it rotted and what kinds of gases were produced. We discussed what sugar content and acidity may have affected, but I want to understand what happeed and how…..
