How does fresh water compare to salt water?
The ECOswim system is superior to salt generators in many ways. The chemical name for salt, NaCl is Sodium Chloride. The main function of a generator in a salt system is to create chlorine from salt. So you are still swimming in chlorine and you will experience most of the problems you will in a chlorine pool. Also, any damage to your pool, deck or equipment resulting from the use of salt for a salt system is typically not covered under warranty. An ECOswim pool contains no chlorine and no salt.
