How does Freddie Mac announce a new PC? When are the announcements made?
Freddie Mac discloses new PCs two to four business days (depending on the funding cycle) before settlement in the Daily New PC Issues file. The current Daily New PC Issues file is available on www.FreddieMac.com/mbs in the “Other Resources” box or through disclosure data vendors. Historical Daily New Issues files can be accessed from the PC & Index Amortization PoolSM Reports page. All pools are shown with an issue date of the 1st of the month regardless of the actual date of settlement within the month.
