How does FPA qualify a business as an ‘LGBT friendly’ employer?
There are several rating and grading systems that are sponsored by respected LGBT organizations. For instance, the Human Rights Campaign issues what is known as the annual Corporate Equality Index in which major U.S. companies are rated for their adoption and implementation of non-discriminatory policies and practices. We take these and similar rating systems into consideration when working on behalf of large corporate clients. However, we realize that not everyone can nor aspires to work within the Fortune 500 community. As such, we specialize in working with small and medium size businesses that work to employ – and often exceed – similar anti-discrimination policies and performance standards.
