How does football work…?
Hey again, again. have a question. Are you watching or playing a pick-up game? The game starts by a coin toss, the team who wins the coin toss has the option to recieve or “kick-off” first Special Teams: -A kick off starts the game by having the 2 teams on separate sides of the field.The football is placed at one end of the field and then the assigned team kicks the ball as far to the other side. The recieving team catches the balls and attempts to run as far up the field until the ball carrier gets tackled. Offense: Goal is to get a Touchdown (the opposing side of the field.) -Given 4 downs (tries, plays) to travel 10+ yards If they pass that mark they get 4 more downs to do this again until they fail or reach the endzone (Touchdown i.e the 2 ends of the field.)–A down is started by a “Hike” when the football is thrown by a player through his legs to the Quarterback (“QB”, the player who throws or hands the ball off) ————————————–… On 4th down: – Teams will u
