Flixonase (Flonase) contains the corticosteroid fluticasone propionate. This corticosteroid is administered as a nasal spray and helps control the symptoms of hayfever by reducing inflammation inside the nose and relieving multiple nasal symptoms of congestion, sneezing, and itchy, runny nose. What is Flonase used for? To prevent perennial and seasonal allergic rhinitis symptoms including sneezing, itching, and runny or congested nose.
