How does Financial Aid applies to the Tuition and Fees?
Once the application & documentation process is completed, the Office of Financial Aid will process for the aid at the appropriate time for disbursement. When this process is complete, we will be able to post the financial aid to the student’s account. Financial aid will first apply to cover your tuition, room & board, and health fee costs. It will also cover any tax withholding (international students). If the financial aid is less than the costs, remaining will be due by the student/parents. If the financial aid is more than the costs, SUA will issue a refund to the student.
