How does Finale 98 Copy protection work?
A. Finale 98 requires that you insert your original Finale 98 CD periodically for verification. The CD is required for the installation and the initial launch of Finale 98, and only occasionally after that. The longer you use Finale, the fewer times it will ask for the original CD. If you don’t have your original CD when Finale asks for it, you’ll still be able to launch the application three times before it will require the CD to run. The Lab Pack installations use a different security system, which is explained below.
