How does file-sharing affect The Citadels network?
File-sharing causes a flooding of network traffic thus reducing the bandwidth available for other network traffic such as email. Although you may not be aware of it, if you use file-sharing programs you are not just reducing your own computer’s efficiency, you’re actually choosing to allow others who are not even enrolled at The Citadel to take away valuable resources that you pay for via your network technology fee.
