How does Fantasy Baseball Work?
You join a league of 12 other people and everyone picks players according to how they think they will perform in certain stat categories. Each league may have different stats to keep track of. You will fill out a full team based on their position eligibility, 1st basemen, 2nd base, 3 outfielders, pitchers etc. You will also have players on your bench and each day you can choose which players to play on that day and only the stats of the players you have in your starting lineup will count toward your fantasy team. You compare your stats to the other teams to determine your position in the league. For your first year you should try a 5×5 rotisserie league. (that’s 5 hitting categories and 5 pitching categories scored). Scoring is determined by the number of people in your league. Standard league is 12 teams and scoring starts at 12 points for each category.
