How does FanConcert use latitude and longitude?
Every user and venue in FanConcert can have a latitude and longitude which describes its location on the Earth’s surface. FanConcert uses these locations to find distances between things. For example, the Local Venues page tells you which Venues are close to your location (proximity). If a user or a venue doesn’t have a latitude or longitude set, then it doesn’t have a valid location and can’t be used to determine proximity to other things. This is why every user and venue should have a valid latitude and longitude in FanConcert.
