Dialup Service operates at 56kb/s. Standard Everus wireless service is designed to operate at an average of 1mb/s, for both upload and download. Our best residential and small business service packages will allow your connection speed to burst up to 5Mb/s. Everus DSL service is asymmetrical, offering as much as 5mb/s down, and up to 700 kb/s upload speeds. DSL speeds may vary according to your distance from the serving Central Office, and the quality of the copper infrastructure serving your premises. Compared to satellite, our service can offer much higher speeds, and eliminate the awful ‘freeze frame’ performance of satellite when voice and streaming audio and video applications are required.
