How does eTrust Admin compare to meta-directories?
eTrust Admin manages data in native directory namespaces, whereas meta-directories create yet another directory to manage. A meta-directory attempts to integrate the existing namespaces into a new master directory. This limits administrators, forcing them to use only those tools, objects and properties supported by the meta-directory vendor.
