30MNSRS deployment remains as before PRR776 – strictly reliability and procedure based. The BES market is utilized as long as there are available BES bids. ERCOT’s procedures state that 30MNSRS is deployed when the BES stack is projected to be 95% or more deployed. ERCOT may also deploy 30MNSRS when adjusted responsive falls below 2500 MW. ERCOT may also deploy 30MNSRS for zonal congestion if there are not adequate BES bids in the zone. That portion of daily NSRS responsibilities supplied from BESCNSRS is offered as BES Up.
