How does energy make the body work.?
the conversion from food into energy occurs in cells trough the process of respiration. during this process, glucose is transformed into simpler sugars and results in the formation of ATP molecules (the “energy currency” of cells). when ATP is hydrolyzed there is a release of energy. this energy in our body fulfill an infinite number of functions. by saying “work” you are not being very specific… the energy is used in muscular contraction (the process is too long to describe.. if you are interested, check out this website: http://people.eku.edu/ritchisong/301note… ) ATP is also essential in a lot of smaller but vital processes.
