How does employment for people with disabilities enhance social inclusion?
I am an Inclusion worker, i have travelled all over the world to work with young disabled people and i have recently been to the UN where a representative from the World Bank sat in a conference and said in no uncertain terms that the WB wants to encourage the implementation of work programmes to make disabled people ledd of a burden on economies and more lucrative, so reading between the lines, Capitalism is going back on itself and whereas when the workhouses were created around the Industrial Revolution, to extrapolate the ‘undeserving poor’ from the true workforce, now it needs their labour, Capitalisms divisons have eaten away at it from the inside, as is the path for any class based system of rule, but anyway, basically they want their money so they’re trying to push the work ethic and it has many benifits but it comes from a terrible misconception that people are mere commodities for exploitation, and the real social inclusion movement is about disabled people being included in
